At Kambaku River Sands all ten thatched suites have a private deck where you can kick back and watch rhinos, buffaloes and other Timbavati locals pass by. Craving a drink and some bites during your evening drive? It is already taken care of. All safaris are in open top vehicles, so prepare for excellent picture opportunities. Get the famous Kambaku elephant (which means solitary bull elephant) in focus with his impressive 60-plus kilogram tusk, or any other member of the Big Five family. If you are really lucky, you might spot the magical and elusive white lion. The rangers at Kambaku River Sands also love to organise bush walks and introduce you to its smaller inhabitants.
